About the event
The Critical Mass will be attending the "18th Annual NATO Conference on Arms Control, Disarmament & Weapons of Mass Destruction Non-Proliferation".
The U.S. Department of State will co-host with the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) the 18th NATO Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) Non-Proliferation Conference the week of April 17-20. This conference includes a civil society event, intended to help kick off the conversation and give conference participants and civil society leaders a chance to meet. Howard University's Ralph J. Bunche Center for International Affairs is pleased to partner with Department of State for this part of the conference.
U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman will deliver a welcome address, and NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg will provide a keynote address virtually, followed by a short Q and A session. The opening session will be made public and streamed live on the State Department website. The rest of the conference is closed to the public.
